Sweater next ot the skin?

I always wear my sweaters next to the skin as do most of my friends. Others would not think of putting a sweater on without a blouse, vest or cami underneath.
Mostly I wear wollen polo or crew neck sweaters some of which are quite rough. Several of my workmates wonder how I can wear these next ot the skin. What do you think.
