~* Zindagi se hum kuch yun mile *~
Zindagi se hum kuch yun mile
Jiase paani me uthte hain bulbule
Kabhi khamosh samandar
ki tarha the hum
To kabhi masoom bacche
ki tarha chulbule
Mile nahin hum kabhi
rahaton ke saye se
Dard apna raha ya gair ka
tanhaiyon me rote hue
bechaniyon ko hum mile
Ab intzaar ki
intehaa hai ho gyi
Mere har ek safar ki
manzil kahin gyi
Kuch to aisa mile
jo mukammal ho
bhale zindagi ke
chand lamhon mein mile

Let the ascetics sing of the garden of Paradise
We who dwell in the true ecstasy can forget their vase-tamed bouquet.
In our hall of mirrors, the map of the one Face appears
As the sun’s splendor would spangle a world made of dew.
Hidden in this image is also its end,
As peasants’ lives harbor revolt and unthreshed corn sparks with fire.
Hidden in my silence are a
thousand abandoned longings:
My words the darkened oil lamp on a stranger’s unspeaking grave.
Ghalib, the road of change is before you always:
The only line stitching this world’s scattered parts

Sayeen Itna Deejiye, Ja Mein Kutumb Samaye
Main Bhi Bhookha Na Rahun,
Sadhu Na Bhookha Jaye
Meaning Of this Doha
Give so much O God, suffice to envelop my clan
I should not suffer cravings, nor the visitor goes unfed

Chalti Chakki Dekh Kar, Diya Kabira Roye
Dui Paatan Ke Beech Mein,Sabit Bacha Na Koye
The Meaning OF Doha
Looking at the grinding stones, Kabir laments
In the duel of wheels, nothing stays intact.

Jo Dise So To Hai Nahin,
Hai So Kaha Na Jayee
Bin Dekhe Parteet Na Aave,
Kahe Na Koyee Patiyana
Samajh Hoye To Rabeen Cheenho,
Achraj Hoye
Ayana
Koi Dhyave Nirakar Ko,
Koi Dhyave Aakaara
Ja Bidhi In Dono Te
Nyara,
Jane Jananhara
Woh Raag To Likhia Na Jayee
Matra Lakhe Na
Kana
Kahat Kabir So Padhe Na Parlay,
Surat Nirat Jin Jana
English Translation
What is seen is not the Truth
What is
cannot be said
Trust comes not without seeing
Nor understanding without words
The wise comprehends with knowledge
To the ignorant it is but a
wonder
Some worship the formless God
Some worship His various forms
In what way He is beyond these attributes
Only the Knower knows
That
music cannot be written
How can then be the notes
Says Kabir, awareness
alone will overcome illusion
Poem By Sant Kabir
